Texas Southmost College invites the community to lace up their running shoes and take part in the TSC Historic Run & Half Marathon on Saturday, March 28, 2026, on the historic TSC campus in Brownsville.
This special race celebrates 100 years of Texas Southmost College and welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to enjoy a scenic course through historic Fort Brown and the beautiful Rio Grande Valley. Whether you're chasing a personal record or simply looking to enjoy a morning run with friends and family, the event offers something for everyone.
The TSC Historic Run & Half Marathon is a USATF Certified race, meaning the course meets national standards for accuracy. Finish times will be eligible for submission to major events such as the Chevron Houston Marathon, the Boston Marathon (where applicable), and other races that require certified results.
Participants can choose from three race options:
Race Day Schedule
Runner check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. with music, stretching, and giveaways.
Packet Pick-Up
Race packets can be picked up on March 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacob Brown Auditorium Lobby, located at 600 International Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520.
